About Mezuraj Museum
The Mezuraj Museum, on Rruga e Kavajës, displays a private collection of archaeological finds and Albanian art, put together by a Tirana family and opened to the public. The collection runs from ancient pottery, coins and objects from Illyrian and Roman times to paintings by Albanian artists of the 20th century. It is small, quiet and interesting, a good half-hour stop on a walk west of the centre. Check opening times in advance, as they can vary.
