Tirana International Airport Nënë Tereza (TIA) is at Rinas, about 17 kilometres north-west of the centre, and is currently Albania’s only airport with scheduled passenger flights; it passed ten million passengers in 2024. The Rinas Express airport bus runs every hour, around the clock, and taxis take around 20–25 minutes depending on traffic. A bus also links the airport with Durrës.
