About Taxis
Taxis are easy to find in Tirana. From the airport the fare to the centre is about 2,200 ALL one way (airport figure), and the ride takes about 20–25 minutes. In town, use licensed taxis, check the meter is on or agree the price first, and ask your hotel or restaurant to call one. Apps such as Speed Taxi let you book, see the price in advance and pay by card. Short rides around the centre are inexpensive by European standards.
