About Women’s Museum Albania (MiG)
The Women’s Museum Albania, Muzeu i Gruas, tells the history of Albanian women, their lives, work and rights, through objects, documents, clothes and photographs, set in a small 1960s apartment. You will find hats, bags and dresses from the 1920s and 1930s, and publications showing that women intellectuals were active before the Albanian state was founded. The museum places great weight on education and discussion. It is a personal, thought-provoking visit; check opening times on its website before you go.
