A turbine lab reborn

About ArTurbina

ArTurbina opened in July 2018 as a multifunctional arts centre in a building that was a hydro-turbine laboratory during the communist years, which explains the name. After 1990 it fell into ruin; today it has two stages, of 400 and 150 seats, with modern stage technology, plus space for exhibitions by young Albanian and international artists. It is home to the National Experimental Theatre and stands on Rruga Sami Frashëri, close to the Grand Park and the artificial lake. Check the programme for performances and openings.
