About Shije Fshati

Shije Fshati, “the taste of the village”, opened in November 2019 with a simple mission: to keep local cooking alive and serve it in its original form. The menu sticks to central Albania, so expect veal steak, village chicken with pilaf, summer fërgesë and lamb ribs rather than pizza and pasta. It sits on Rruga e Dibrës, a few minutes from Skanderbeg Square, and opens daily from noon until late. Come hungry and order a few dishes to share.

Why it's on our list

  • Central Albanian dishes
  • Lamb, village chicken, fërgesë
  • Open from noon

Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with Shije Fshati before you go.
