The Ethnographic Museum of Krujë occupies an 18th-century house inside the castle, the home of the Toptani family, and is one of the finest in the country. Its rooms show how a wealthy family lived, with carved wooden ceilings, a private hammam, an oil press and workshops for weaving, leather and metal, and the guides explain each room in detail. Allow forty-five minutes; it is a short walk from the Skanderbeg Museum through the castle lanes.
