About Bus terminals & furgons
Albania travels by bus and furgon, the shared minibus. Many intercity and international buses leave from the North and South Bus Terminal on the western side of the city, by the Durrës road; buses to the south and east, such as Berat, Korçë and Sarandë, often leave from the Tirana East terminal near TEG. Ask your hotel which terminal your bus leaves from, check times the day before, and use sites such as Balkanviator to plan. Pay the driver or conductor in cash.
