About Albanian Railways (HSH)
Hekurudha Shqiptare (HSH) is Albania’s national railway company. Passenger services from Tirana have been suspended while the line between Tirana, Durrës and a new branch to the airport is rebuilt, and the railway is not expected back in service until about late 2027. Until then, buses and furgons cover every route. Check the HSH website for news on the new line, which should make airport and Durrës journeys much easier once it opens.
