The Tirana International Hotel & Conference Centre stands on Skanderbeg Square, so you could hardly be more central. Built in 1979 as the Hotel Tirana, the fifteen-storey block known locally as Pesëmbëdhjetëkatëshi was renovated in 2001 and has 168 rooms; it is also the country’s largest conference centre. Ask for a room overlooking the square and the mountains. The museums, the mosque, the Opera and the New Bazaar are all on your doorstep, which makes it ideal for a short stay.
