About Queen Geraldine Maternity Hospital
The University Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynaecology “Mbretëresha Geraldinë” is Tirana’s main public maternity hospital, named after Queen Geraldine, the wife of King Zog. It treats emergencies in pregnancy and childbirth and provides gynaecological care. If you are pregnant and travelling in Albania, it is worth noting its location and checking your insurance before you go.
