About GAT – Tirana Art Gallery
GAT, the Tirana Art Gallery, was opened by the Municipality of Tirana in 2021 close to the city centre to support the visual arts scene. Its programme mixes past legacy, contemporary work and international trends, with changing exhibitions of Albanian artists, talks and events that encourage visitors to discuss what they see. It aims to become the city’s main reference gallery for Albanian visual art. Check the current exhibition before you go; it pairs well with the National Gallery of Arts on the boulevard.
