About National Museum of Medieval Art

The National Museum of Medieval Art in Korçë displays one of the country’s great collections of icons, iconostases and church art, gathered from churches across Albania, including works by Onufri and his followers. It moved into a modern building near the Resurrection Cathedral in 2016. The gilded iconostases and the faces of the saints are remarkable. Allow an hour and a half, and check opening times on the museum’s website before your visit.
