About Getting to Vlorë
Buses run frequently from Tirana to Vlorë, taking around two and a half hours along the motorway via Durrës and Fier; check which terminal they leave from the day before. By car it is a little quicker. Vlorë’s new airport project had no scheduled flights as of 2026, so most visitors fly into Tirana. From Vlorë, buses and minibuses continue over the Llogara pass to Dhërmi, Himarë and Sarandë, and in summer boats leave for the Karaburun peninsula.
