About Vlora International Airport
Vlora International Airport has been built near Vlorë to serve the southern coast, the Karaburun peninsula and the Albanian Riviera, which today are reached by road from Tirana International Airport, about two and a half hours away. A certification flight has taken place, but scheduled passenger flights have not yet started and no opening date has been announced. Until it opens, fly to Tirana and drive or take the bus south.
