About Getting to Korçë & Pogradec
Buses and furgons run from Tirana to Korçë, via Elbasan and Pogradec, in about three and a half hours; ask which terminal they leave from, usually Tirana East. By car the road follows the Shkumbin valley and then the lakeshore. From Pogradec, the border with North Macedonia is close, for St Naum and Ohrid. Korçë combines well with a few days on Lake Ohrid and a loop back through Skopje or Struga.
