Kitchen Bar has views over the artificial lake in the Grand Park, and on a sunny day it is easy to spend a few hours here watching people, joggers and ducks while you sip a coffee, a beer or a glass of wine. There is pizza and light food, and a play area makes it a good stop for families. It is calm enough to work for an hour, too. Combine it with a walk around the lake or a visit to the Botanical Garden and the zoo at the southern end of the park.
