About Trains
Passenger trains do not currently run from Tirana. A new railway linking Tirana, Durrës and the airport is under construction, with services expected to start in late 2027 according to the latest official timelines (October 2026); it has been delayed several times, so treat this as expected. Use buses and furgons in the meantime.
