About Sarandë
Sarandë curves around a bay opposite Corfu, with a lively promenade, restaurants and boats to the Greek island in about half an hour. It is the base for Butrint, Ksamil and the Blue Eye, and for Lëkurësi Castle above the town. In July and August it is busy and noisy; in spring and autumn it is calmer and very pleasant. Walk the promenade in the evening, when the town comes out, and eat fresh fish by the sea.
