About Resurrection Cathedral, Korçë
The Resurrection Cathedral stands at the centre of Korçë, at the end of the main boulevard, and is the focus of the town’s evening walk. Built in the 1990s to replace a cathedral destroyed under communism, it has a large dome, twin bell towers and a bright, icon-filled interior. It is the seat of the Orthodox Metropolitan of Korçë. Visit during the evening service to hear the singing, and dress modestly.
