The Llogara Pass, 1,027 metres high in Llogara National Park, carries the road from Vlorë over the Ceraunian Mountains to the Riviera. Pine forest, restaurants serving lamb and mountain tea, and paragliders mark the top, and on the other side the road drops in hairpins with a sweeping view down the coast to Dhërmi and the islands. Stop at a viewpoint on the way down. In winter the peaks above can be snow-covered while the coast below is mild.
