The Grunas waterfall drops some thirty metres into a rocky amphitheatre, a walk of about an hour from the centre of Theth along a marked path. It is most impressive in spring and early summer, when snowmelt swells the flow; in late summer it thins to a veil. Nearby is the narrow Grunas canyon, where the river has cut deep through the rock. Combine both with a swim in the pools of the river on a hot day.
