About Dollma Tekke
The Tekke of Dollmë, or Haxhi Mustafa Baba Tekke, stands in the southern corner of Krujë castle and was completed in 1779–80. It belongs to the Bektashi order, whose world centre is now in Tirana; before the communist ban on religion it had 360 holy graves and was known as “Little Khorasan”. Today it is a small, peaceful shrine with a painted interior. Visitors are welcome; take off your shoes and speak quietly, as it is still a place of prayer.
