Korçë’s old bazaar, founded around the Mirahori Mosque in the late 15th century and given its present form in the 19th, has been carefully restored, its stone lanes now full of restaurants, cafés, craft shops and small hotels around Hani i Pazarit, the old inn. In the evening it is the liveliest part of town, with beer from the local Korça brewery and grilled meats. Visit in late August for the Korçë beer festival, a big summer party.
